Blog Tag and my contribution to the game

16 01 2007

If you’re a regular reader of blogs you must have bumped into “blog tag” game by now.

Blog tag is a viral “game” designed for bloggers in order to share 5 little known facts with the blogger’s audience. That blogger in turns tags five or more other bloggers and the game continues until everyone in the universe has shared some sort of information on the Internet about themselves.

Some people hate it (feel it’s similar to chain letters), others don’t want to involve themselves as personalities on their blogs, and the last group grabs at the opportunity to divulge more information about themselves…I’m in that last group.

Melissa Petri from Road Gladiator tagged me, and I’m willing to play along.

5 things most people don’t know about Lee Iwan

  1. I met my wife on a Caribbean cruise in 1980. After 3 years of long distance dating (USA – Mexico) and a total of 65 days physically together (out of a possible 1100+) we were married.
  2. I’m a classic INTJ (Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging or Masterminds) personality type as tested by the Kiersey Temperament Sorter and the Meyer Briggs Type Indicator.
  3. I am addicted to reading and researching. I read everything I can. Books, magazines, the internet, blogs, cereal boxes, scraps of paper. You name it and I want to find out all about it. I find libraries and museums incredibly fantastic places to visit.
  4. I was an active and enthusiastic birder (birdwatcher) between the ages of 15 and 21 and had the entire Peterson A Field Guide to the Birds of Eastern and Central North American memorized.
  5. I love to cook (and eat) all types of national, ethnic and international foods. Cooking is relaxing and gives me great pleasure, shopping for menu ingredients is invigorating and energizing. My all time favorite comfort food is probably a Chicago Vienna hot-dog on a steamed poppy seed bun with mustard, peppers and relish and a side order of cheese fries with giardiniera.

I’ll pass the baton on to the following five bloggers on my “must read daily” list who have NOT already posted. There is absolutely no obligation to respond, answer or post. But it’s a good opportunity for readers of my blog to discover some great writers and new ideas: Carmine Coyote at Slow Leadership, Gavin Heaton at Servant of Chaos, David Armano at Logic + Emotion, Dr. Ellen Weber at Brain Based Business, Annette at Interactions – Creative Strategies.

If you haven’t discovered their blogs, now is a great time to visit and add them to your bookmarks and RSS reader.
